Wrinkles and Time

I think older people have earned the right to watch the television with the volume all the way up, to fart as they walk down aisles in the grocery store, to take a little longer to get something done, and to drive slow in the fast lane and flip the young speeders off when they pass by honking.  I think they've earned the right to be sweet and innocent again like little kids where everyone around them is simply nice, and if someone pisses them off, the old lady should be able to hit them with their big old purse...

They've gone through so much more than anyone else (probably), and even though they're not all perfect, and they're not all wise, some still are, and some still hurt, just like anyone else, either from happenings from the past or from elderly pains of the present.

They've been able to get through this experience we call life - and they should not have to put up with the younger naive generations rushing to get by, when they just want their turn to last to it's rightful time, because maybe that's all they have left.
